Requirements for the minor

1. The Theatre Minor Consists of 25 Hours to Be Taken as Follows.

A. Required core consists of 13 credit hours.

THTR - 1100 University Theatre Company I Credits: 1 (two semesters for a total of two credit hours)

2. An additional 11 hours to be selected from the following courses:

THTR - 3416 Dramatic Literature Credits: 4
THTR - 1320 Introduction to Production Techniques Credits: 3
THTR - 1330 Principles of Costume Construction Credits: 3
THTR - 1350 Introduction to Acting Credits: 3
THTR - 2300 Stage Makeup Design Credits: 3
THTR - 2310 Principles of Design Credits: 3 OR
ART - 1410 Design Credits: 4
THTR - 3433 Play Structure and Analysis Credits: 4
THTR - 2354 Voice and Speech Credits: 3 (also listed as HCOM 2313 )
THTR - 3431 History of Theatre: The Classical Stage To the Theatre of Enlightenment Credits: 4 OR

B. 12 additional hours of Theatre electives of which no more than 3 credit hours of directed study or special topic courses may be applied.
